Undoubtedly one of the most representative structures in San Sebastian, the Kursaal Auditorium has just celebrated its 26th anniversary as the protagonist of so many festivals and events that enhance the prestige of our city on the international scene.
L
ocated on land reclaimed from the sea in front of Gros beach and next to the mouth of the Urumea River, the Kursaal Palace is made up of architect Rafael Moneo’s “Two Beached Rocks”, two huge 7,000 square metre glass cubes connected underground.
The Kursaal Auditorium is the backdrop for the many internationally renowned events organised by our city, mainly the San Sebastian Film Festival, the Jazz Festival and the Musical Fortnight in August.
